A sea front villa, facing east and the sunrise, where the high tide floats under the house and gives you a natural connection to the nature. The villa attracts the creative guest that enjoy and looking for an ecological way of living. Bring your yoga mats, finish your book project or go with the flow by combining your creativity mixed with relaxation for an effortless stay. Here it's natural to show respect to the local people that are not so used to tourists that we find on the west coast of Koh Lanta. With a motorbike you reach the cultural center a kilometer away - Lanta old Town - that has stores, restaurants and pier for excursions when needed. There are plenty of spots along the main road continuing even more south that offers great restaurants with stunning sea view.

A two story building spread out on 260 square meters with generous space offering different spots for relaxing and socialising. Being carefully renovated over a five year span keeping the traditional building technique with a well ventilated thai style house, yet modernising it with todays need of a comfortable living. There is no air-conditioning installed since the ocean breeze keeps it cool both during day and night.

The entrance door opens up to a generous 32 sq. m. lounge area with a dining set for six persons as well as a L-shaped sofa facing the 55 inch UHD Smart-Tv. A ladder leads up to the first loft with a queen size bed and another ladder is attached to the second loft with two single beds.

In the center of the building you find the bathroom with hot water shower. A staircase that brings you to the master bedroom with a king size bed, a working desk and roof covered patio with a stunning view! Actually this is the place in the building where you have a 360 degree view! Space enough to bring a couple of yoga mats or lean back in the hammock and imbibe the tranquil atmosphere – meditating together with the waves just underneath.

Continuing on the ground floor describing the well equipped kitchen fitted into 32 sq. m. with both electric and gas stove including oven, coffee brewer and espresso machine, fridge with separate freezer, microwave oven, toasters and well sorted kitchen ware at your disposal. Two sliding door is marking the zone to the outside area, still roof covered, “No Mind Bar” – an outdoor bar with BBQ, gas stove for frying fresh fish, another fridge to keep the cool drinks nearby the pool area or the dining set when you need some shadow. When you keep the sliding doors open daytime, you have the whole house well ventilated which give the touch of a Bali style house where exterior and interior blends together seamlessly.

Step out on the open pool deck 44 sq. m. and meet the nature with sun loungers, more table and chairs, hammocks and the small pool facing the ocean. An outdoor shower is also available on the side of the pool.

It is well worth mentioning that a totally new electric system is installed with auto safety breakers or RCDs and there are electric outlets everywhere to convenient plug in your mobile charger when needed. There are several dimmers throughout the house that can detailed set the sought after atmosphere you need after sunset to mach your mood. Fire extinguisher is installed both on ground floor and upper floor.

If you rent a long tail boat, we can sort that out for a round trip to the mangrove forest or some of the nearby islands in this beautiful archipelago.

Lanta Hideaways usually do a second visit after 48 hours to make sure everything is at satisfactory and we also have a local care taker in the village at disposal whom is expert at this house.

Price per week is valid from min 5 up to 27 night’s stay and only an estimate for a quick calculation. In the Booking Confirmation, we will divide price per week according to the actual number of nights booked, following the discount plan and season rates that differs during high, peak and green season.

Long stay reservations from 28 nights or more will be discounted as per details in the Booking Confirmation.

A service fee of 3800 THB will be added to the final payment for each booking. A Safety Deposit plus an estimate for use of electricity of 500 THB per week will be pre-paid in cash at check-in. The actual cost is balanced at check out.
