Southern Area

With the best location in the middle of the three km long and very child-friendly Klong Dao Beach, is the popular area of ​​Southern Residence, with privately owned houses and apartments and only around 200 meters from the sea.

Between the residence area and Southern Lanta Resort there is a nice swimming pool and two tennis courts. Tenants in the villas and apartments have access to the pool and some other facilities around the resort. Tennis court and gym can be booked at the resort reception. All villas in the area have their own private internet.

Many restaurants, hotels, resorts and massages are available along the beach side and also a small number of shops.

Along the main road there are additional restaurants, usually something simpler but genuinely Thai and cheaper than on the beach and most of them open the year around. There are also banks, ATMs, hairdressers, small shops, fruit traders, ice cream shop, pharmacies, dentists etc.

The distance to Saladan, which is the closest major community, is within walking distance about 1.5 km – or a few minutes with Tuk-Tuk or motorbike.
